Valdosta, GA: The Burton Fletcher Foundation for Animals, Inc. wishes to recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions to Animal Welfare, including volunteerism, fostering, adoption, donations, fundraising, spaying, and neutering, by announcing the first annual Animal Welfare Heroes, 2022 Competition! The first, second and third place winners will donate their winnings (a minimum of $2500 in total) to the animal welfare cause of their choice. You can nominate and vote for up to five (5) individuals. Eligibility: The “Animal Welfare Heroes, 2022” Competition, Hosted By The Burton Fletcher Foundation for Animals, Inc., http://www.BurtonFletcherFoundation.org, (the “Competition”) is open to legal residents of South Georgia who are at least eighteen (18) years old. Employees of The Burton Fletcher Foundation for Animals, Inc., and its affiliated companies (“Competition Entities”) as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members, are not eligible to enter. Nominators and nominees must live in South Georgia. The competition voting deadline is March 1, 2022, so don’t delay!
How to Enter: Each nominator may submit up to five (5) nominations for different individuals. You do not need to nominate, to vote. Use of automated systems or of multiple accounts to enter the Competition is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Likewise, remarks made regarding a person nominated must be unique to that person. The Foundation is not responsible for disqualified entries due to being lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, or duplicative.
Competitions: The total winning donations will be no less than $2500, and there will be one (1) First Place Competition Winner Who Receives 50% of the Competition Funds; one (1) Second Place Competition Winner Who Receives 30% of the Competition Funds; and one (1) Third Place Competition Winner Who Receives 20% of the Competition Funds. Limit: one (1) Competition Winner per person.Competition winners will dictate to which Animal Welfare organization(s)in the competing counties they would like the Competition money to go.
Winner Determination: Winners will be announced in March 2022. Upon the Competition Period deadline, all nominees will be judged by a panel of judges (to be selected by Foundation in its sole discretion) based on the stalwart qualities, including sponsorship, donating, fostering, volunteering, communication, supporting efforts, and/or adopting dogs and cats in need. The President of the Burton Fletcher Foundation for Animals, Inc. reserves the right to be one of the judges. One factor that will be considered, though not determinative, is the total number of votes received by any one nominee. The competition winners will choose which Animal Welfare organization(s) will receive the awarded competition money! Nominating and voting for your favorite person will take place on the official Burton Fletcher Foundation website, www.BurtonFletcherFoundation.org. Individuals can both nominate and vote for, up to five (5) people, respectively, but may only vote once for any individual.
